This means you can obtain most Pacific Bell business service offerings by contacting our office. The price to you is the same, whether you order directly through Pacific Bell or KTS Services. If you are integrating Pacific Bell services with your hardware based telephone system, in many cases you will find it easier to order through us.
CENTREX is nothing more than Pacific Bell's normal dial tone, enhanced with extra features. These features sometimes enable a customer to build a telephone system without a PBX or other common equipment. CENTREX is very important when you need to transfer calls between offices, or to mobile phones, home offices, etc. In
these cases, CENTREX may be combined with your existing telephone system for optimum performance.
The monthly cost of CENTREX lines costs only a little more than regular business phone lines, however, if you want to convert existing business lines to CENTREX, you will have to pay a new CENTREX installation charge. Call or contact us for pricing.
PACIFIC BELL VOICE MAIL
Pacific Bell provides mail boxes on a month to month rental basis in most areas of California. Each box is provided with a local telephone number. The cost is about $20 per month. If you only need to rent a very few voice mail boxes from Pacific Bell, CENTREX may be used to transfer callers to your appropriate voice mail
box. For about $5 per month additional, your pager will be activated when a message is left in the mail box.
